Career DayOn Wednesday, April 16, 2014 Brentwood Elementary hosted members of the community who came to speak with our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students about their career. We provided this opportunity to expose our students to the various careers in our community, so that it may encourage our students to start thinking about their future career. A few of the career presentations included military personnel, an artist, the Fayetteville Fire Department Chief, an Agricultural Extension Agent, and Football Coach.

Also, our 5th grade students participated in a presentation by the 71st High School Jr. ROTC. Lt. Col. Haley, along with his drill team spoke with our students about a career in the military and the purpose of enrolling in an ROTC program in high school.

We want to thank everyone who participated in our Career Day. Our students really enjoyed hearing about the different careers.
